These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Chip Seal Manawatu website (chipsealmanawatu.co.nz) and the services provided by Chip Seal Manawatu. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
Chip Seal Manawatu provides chip seal installation, surface preparation, maintenance, and repair services for residential driveways, commercial properties, roads, and carparks across the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand. All work is carried out by our trained and certified crew.
All quotes provided by Chip Seal Manawatu are free of charge and subject to a site assessment. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ materially from those assessed at the time of quoting. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
Work is scheduled upon acceptance of a written quote and, where applicable, receipt of a deposit. We will make every reasonable effort to complete work within the agreed timeframe. Scheduling may be affected by weather conditions, which are outside our control. We will communicate any delays as soon as practicable.
Chip seal application requires suitable weather conditions. Chip Seal Manawatu reserves the right to postpone or reschedule work if conditions are not appropriate for a quality result. No liability is accepted for delays caused by weather or site conditions beyond our control.
Payment is due in accordance with the terms set out in your invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is required upon completion of work. Chip Seal Manawatu accepts payment by bank transfer or as otherwise agreed. Overdue accounts may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month.
Chip Seal Manawatu stands behind the quality of our workmanship. We provide a workmanship warranty on all chip seal installation work. This warranty covers defects in our application and does not extend to damage caused by third parties, improper use, or pre-existing substrate issues not disclosed at the time of quoting. Warranty terms will be specified in your quote or job agreement.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Chip Seal Manawatu’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation that cannot be excluded by contract.
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance so we can work toward a resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to mediation or, where applicable, the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand.
